Alfredo Gomez
Born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, Alfredo Perez Gomez first became fascinated with the art of cooking in his grandmother's home. With the foundations of cooking under his belt, Gomez moved to the US at the tender age of 18, where he learned the restaurant and bar trade and worked his way to the kitchens of Gilbert's, a renowned restaurant in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and Takashi, the famed Michelin-star restaurant in Chicago.
Moving back to Mexico, Gomez headed up Carolina Restaurant at The St. Regis Punta Mita, before receiving his Academie Culinaire de France - Diplome D'Honneur Medaille de Bronze, as well as taking home First Place at the VIII Trofeo Thierry Blouet. He crossed oceans to Hong Kong in 2014, working at a number of Dining Concepts group restaurants before joining Swire Restaurants, where he takes the helm as Executive Chef at Mr & Mrs Fox.
